If I am elected mayor,
I will work every day to make Winnipeg safer for vulnerable people walking home, more affordable for people on pensions, and more respectful of the families who built this city. I will not spend four years on pet projects, increasing water rates and adding new fees at every turn.

Meet Kevin Klein
Kevin and his wife Heather have a blended family of six grown children, four grandchildren, and two dogs.
Kevin’s career in media spans over two decades and culminated in his role as the Chief Executive Officer of Sun Media in Canada and Divisional President for Manitoba Telephone Systems.
He was a finalist for Canada’s Top Forty Under Forty Award.
Kevin served on Winnipeg City Council as the Councillor for Charleswood–Tuxedo–Westwood from 2018 to 2022. Kevin stood up to the bureaucracy and corruption and fought to make the city a better place to live.
He was also chosen as the Chair of the Winnipeg Police Service Board, providing strategic oversight to one of Canada’s largest municipal police services.
In October 2022, Kevin ran for Mayor of Winnipeg, placing third out of 11 candidates.
In December 2022, Kevin was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the riding of Kirkfield Park in a by-election. He was later appointed as the provincial Minister of Environment and Climate.
Beyond the political sphere, Kevin’s journey is deeply rooted in personal tragedy. The loss of his mother, Joanne, to domestic violence propelled him into a fervent advocacy role. Fueled by his mother’s legacy, Kevin has become a powerful voice against domestic violence, striving tirelessly to raise awareness and reform legislation. His advocacy work extends to fundraising events, conferences, and speaking at universities across North America.
